Full-Time Live-Out English Governess in St. Petersburg Ref. FTNEPE002

A native English-speaking Governess is required to work with two boys aged 7 and 12 in St. Petersburg. Both boys attend school and have an interest in developing their English. The primary focus of the role will be to provide a natural, engaging English-speaking environment and support the boys’ language development through everyday communication, interactive activities, educational games, walks, outings and age-appropriate structured lessons. Some light childcare and caring duties may be required when appropriate. The Governess will also support the boys’ social and intellectual development, encourage good manners and etiquette, and act as a positive and inspiring role model. The position is live-out, with a fully furnished private apartment provided near the family’s residence. The role is approximately 40 hours per week, generally working 3–4 hours per day from Monday to Friday after school, with additional hours at weekends. Days off are flexible and may fall on weekdays, with some weekend work required. The exact schedule is negotiable, and the family is open to discussing arrangements with the right candidate. The Governess will have 4 weeks of paid holiday per year. Salary is negotiable from 1200 GBP per week, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker, ideally with relevant teaching or educational qualifications and proven experience working with school-aged children. Previous experience as a Governess, Tutor or English teacher is required. Candidates currently based in Russia are preferred.
