Full-Time Live-Out Chinese Governess in St. Petersburg Ref. FTNEPE001

A native Chinese Mandarin-speaking Governess is required to work with two boys aged 7 and 12 from a private family based in St. Petersburg, one of Russia’s most beautiful cities. Both boys attend school and are beginners in Chinese, so the main focus of the role will be to introduce them to Mandarin through natural communication, interactive activities, walks, games, and structured lessons. Some minor childcare and caring duties may also be required. The position is live-out, with a fully furnished private apartment provided near the family’s residence. The position is approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule is approximately 3–4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, after school, with additional hours at weekends. Days off are flexible and may fall on weekdays, with some weekend work required. The exact schedule is negotiable and the family is open to discussing arrangements with the right candidate.  4 weeks of paid holiday per year. The salary is negotiable from 400,000 RUB per month, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and suitability for the role. Previous experience in a similar Governess, Tutor, or Mandarin-teaching role would be an advantage. Ideally, the family would prefer candidates who are currently based in Russia.
